Description Baskervill is an award-winning, multi-disciplinary design firm with offices throughout the country and in Gdansk, Poland. Our Richmond office is currently looking for a detail-oriented Project Controller to join our growing firm. Project Controllers are integral to the project life cycle, engaging early in support of proposal development, including scope definition, budgeting and staffing, continuing through project execution and close-out. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of the A/E/C industry, demonstrated experience in Project Management, expertise in financial performance and health monitoring, and exceptional communication skills. What you’ll be doing: Assist with the development of marketing proposal scope/budget content, in collaboration with leadership Assist with the development of client and consultant contracts such as short form agreements and AIA agreements, in collaboration with administrative team members Coordinate with administrative team members for initial project setup in accounting/planning database Update/maintain accounting/planning database with initial budget, including all new ASCs that are developed throughout the project Assist with maintaining accurate data in workload planning database, in collaboration with project managers Conduct weekly financial meetings with leadership to review project financials, schedules and staffing Maintain production schedule updates on a weekly basis Review client invoices and generate revenue forecasting on a monthly basis Review consultant invoices, weekly time edits and attend weekly studio meetings Here’s what you’ll need: Architectural, Interior Design, Engineering Degree or equivalent previous experience working in an administrative, accounting or project support capacity 5+ years relevant experience in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction industry Substantial experience in Project Management Strong communication skills Experience with Microsoft 365 applications; Deltek Vantagepoint Experience understanding Architectural, Interior Design, Engineering or General Construction contract documents Experience understanding fee development What we offer: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid parental leave 401K match Short- and long-term disability Volunteerism opportunities and support Paid personal time Paid holidays Paid floating holiday Flex spending account Competitive salary commensurate with experience and skills Baskervill is proud to be an equal opportunity employer M/F/Disability/Veteran, and drug-free workplace. Responsibilities
