Project Controller/Finance Partner (m/w/d)

Your tasks
- As a project controller / finance partner, you will work closely with the sub-portfolio management and product teams and take responsibility for budget planning, cost development, forecasts and financial control issues in the change portfolio of DKB.
- Reporting and variance analysis are part of your daily business: You compile information from the initiatives into a reliable financial overview and make variances, risks and areas for action transparent at an early stage.
- You review cost approvals, budget allocations, and invoices from a financial perspective and ensure correct accounting, activation decisions, and monthly accruals.
- In the sub-portfolios, you are close to the topics, understand the technical drivers behind the numbers, and form the interface between technical implementation, mission control, portfolio management, and finance.
- You will further develop standards, templates and controlling processes and contribute to establishing Finance Partners as competent, efficient and management-oriented contacts in the change portfolio.
Your profile
- You have successfully completed a degree in economics or possess a comparable qualification.
- You have a knack for numbers and several years of experience in (project) controlling, reporting and stakeholder management; banking experience or an affinity for IT-related project, change and investment topics are an advantage.
- You are confident in using common tools and can combine financial data from different sources in a structured way.
- You enjoy explaining complex financial matters in an understandable way, bringing together different perspectives, and guiding those responsible for finance through management processes in a reliable manner.
- You work in a structured, independent and solution-oriented manner, actively contribute your strengths to collaborative finance work and present yourself confidently to various stakeholders.
- For this role, you need fluent German skills.
