Your new role As a Project Controller, you’ll be a key financial partner to our project delivery teams—ensuring strong financial governance, accurate project accounting, and actionable insights that enhance project outcomes. You’ll work closely with Project Managers and collaborate with Senior Leaders, acting as a trusted advisor who brings clarity, control, and commercial acumen to every stage of the project lifecycle. Your key responsibilities will include: Proactively manage the financial performance of your project portfolio, driving value through revenue recognition, risk management, working capital optimisation, and project monitoring. Champion financial governance by ensuring compliance with project accounting standards, internal controls, Ramboll’s policies and procedures, tax, statutory and audit requirements. Responsible for Project set-up and ongoing maintenance Contribute to the continuous improvement of Ramboll’s financial processes and systems. Provide financial advice to stakeholders, identifying risks and opportunities early and offering practical, data-driven solutions. This may include participation in tender reviews. Apply an innovative mindset to streamline and enhance financial operations. Support change initiatives with agility, helping teams adapt to evolving business priorities. Build strong, collaborative relationships with Business Controllers, Project Managers, and senior leadership. Partner with our India-based support team to ensure timely and accurate project maintenance and billing. Your new team You will be part of the Business Finance team working across the UK. We collaborate across offices and time zones in a hybrid environment to work together to deliver excellence in financial project management. About you We’re looking for someone who combines technical expertise with a growth mindset and a collaborative spirit. Whilst we look forward to supporting your continued learning and development, for this role we have identified some qualifications, skills, and capabilities that will set you up for success.
