About the Role: This position operates under direction to deliver project controls and project support tasks within a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team by performing the following outcomes of Integrated Scheduling & Planning, Risk & Assurance Management, Strategic Communication & Governance, and PM Support & Capability Uplift at CASPO. You will be under limited direction, with a strong focus on enabling informed decision making, schedule integration, and enterprise maturity. What’s Involved: - Develop and Maintain Integrated Schedules to create and manage schedules in OPP, incorporating dependencies, logic paths, risk factors, and resource constraints to support CASPO activities. - Plan and Coordinate Work Packages by support planning and sequencing of work packages aligned to capability milestones, system development pathways, and change requests. - Produce and maintain standardised artefacts to deliver artefacts covering scope, schedule, cost, risk, and resource planning to support baseline management and informed decision-making. - Conduct Schedule Assurance and Variance Analysis by performing health checks, analyse schedule performance, and provide recovery advice to Project Managers. - Liaise with Stakeholders by building strong relationships and act as a point of contact for enquiries across CASPO, ACS Branch, AFHQ, DSTG, and industry partners. - Risk Governance and reporting administering CASPO’s risk framework, maintain Predict updates, facilitate governance forums, and embed risk-based decision-making. - Strategic Communication and Governance by preparing executive briefs, governance artefacts, and PM reports to ensure transparency and alignment with CASG frameworks. - Capability Uplift and Best Practice to help support workforce development through coaching in project controls and scheduling tools, and contribute to CASG Project Controls community initiatives. - Tasking Governance by helping oversee coordination and clearance of Branch level tasking through the Head of Group (HoG) Task and Action Tracker (TAT), ensuring timely follow up, and completion to maintain CASPO’s alignment with ASD and CASG priorities. Who we’re Looking For: You’re a Project Controller/Scheduling Support person who brings both technical reliability and the experience to help drive the schedule and assist in the project controls space. You are comfortable and would excel in working in a multi-disciplined team in an integrated working environment to contribute to the successful delivery of CASPO by performing the following outcomes under limited direction, with a strong focus on enabling informed decision making, schedule integration, and enterprise maturity. You’ll Need: - NV1 Security Clearance - Demonstrated project management experience in complex Defence or aviation environments (OPP and PREDICT experience highly sort after). - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within integrated teams. - Strong understanding of project controls, scheduling tools, and risk management frameworks. - High-level communication, proven examples of stakeholder engagement and adaptability - Ability to be able to demonstrate Compliance with Acquisition and Sustainment Procurement Reform, ERP, and NDS requirements. - Timely receipt of activity progress updates from project stakeholders. - On-time delivery of enabling inputs from ACS Branch. - Be able to manage the Integration of external schedules into Defence-specific formats and frameworks.
