We are looking for a proactive and business-minded Project Controller to join our Packaging and Paper Finance team in Finland. You will have an important role in both supporting and challenging project management in complex international projects. Your main stakeholders are project managers, unit management, business unit and our finance teams globally. As Project Controller you will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial data and reports, but your real added value comes from transforming numbers into justified analysis and questions, helping management on their way to better project margins. In addition to project work you will support unit management with various financial analysis needs. To be successful in this position, you will need: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, business administration or industrial management. Experience in controlling tasks and understanding of project financials. Experience in managing a Technology Unit’s income statement is highly appreciated. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex financial concepts. Proficiency in English. Finnish is considered an asset, and any other language skills are likely to be of use as we have projects around the world. Proficiency in financial software and data analysis tools such as PowerBI, and advanced Excel skills. Previous experience from Infor LN, DW and HFM is appreciated. Our ideal candidate has a positive can-do attitude with a development mindset to take things forward. You are a true people person who enjoys teamwork, networking, and lively discussions, and even thrives on the occasional resistance. However, at month end you become a detail-oriented number cruncher who needs no company. You should have your priorities straight and know when to say no, as there will be a queue of people waiting to have a piece of your wisdom. Even though you have a great team to help and back you up, you need to be an independent decision maker and a creative problem solver. We offer: We offer an exciting position in a truly international environment. You get to be part of a professional finance team that takes the time to support each other and have fun together. This job will keep you on a learning path for a long time.
