YOUR NEW ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This is an exciting opportunity to use your project management experience helping the Capture Manager and bid teams to secure new business growth.
Capture Operations within the Australian Growth Office (BD) are preparing for upcoming tenders and are seeking suitable candidates with some project experience looking to develop their skills in project scheduling and risk management supporting the capture team.

Key Responsibilities: -

  • Develop and manage project schedules, transition plans, and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) in alignment with customer requirements.
  • Support bid responses by analysing tender data, writing project-related content, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Estimate project costs, allocate resources effectively, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Monitor project performance through metrics and SLAs, manage risk registers, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Handle change management, requirements mapping, and gap analysis in a fast-paced, deadline-driven tender environment.

What You’ll Bring to Make An Impact

  • 1–2 years of project management experience with an interest in developing expertise in scheduling and risk within ASDEFCON government contracting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and resolve project issues.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies, budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency with project management tools, particularly MS Project or similar software.
