Who are you?
You are an experienced Project Controls Leader with 15+ years post-graduate experience, looking to lead a team of controls professionals on a mega program in the GTHA.
You are a knowledgeable, personable, and enthusiastic individual motivated to implement best in class controls practice, provide strong leadership, and make the difference to both our business and our clients.
Job Description
- Deliver project controls services, taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery, relating to large, complex, and mega projects and programs.
- Recruit, develop, and lead a team of controls professionals.
- Lead and manage multiple project controls functions including risk management, schedule management, cost management, scope, and change.
- Build relations with senior stakeholders to influence, guide, and support to improve project performance.
- Ability to positively contribute to working in a collaborative, one-team environment with team members from multiple employers.
- Act as the key, day to day project team interface, ensuring that client objectives are met, and the project is delivered within time and cost targets and to the appropriate quality standards.
- Project controls delivery meets the client’s objectives and is in line with the conditions of appointment.
- Involvement in technical services delivery including supporting the centre of expertise in developing and implementing the PMO project controls service.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Recognized degree in engineering or relevant discipline
- AACE, PMI, or RICS qualifications an asset
- Significant experience in project controls management for large scale and complex projects and programs; particularly in the rail or broader transportation field an asset
- Demonstrated experience in implementing project controls in different procurement models including progressive and target cost.
- Experience across complex portfolios and programs beneficial
- Proven experience and demonstrated strong people leadership capabilities
- Overall knowledge of project controls software solutions including but not limited to Primavera P6, EcoSys, ARM, etc.
