Description:
RAM is a project delivery firm specializing in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering and Advisory services across Canada. RAM is searching for a motivated and experienced individual in Calgary, AB. The successful candidate will be an individual that enjoys a challenging, professional, and dynamic workplace and contributing to the success of a hardworking team.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for creating and maintaining project costs and schedules to support the successful completion of moderately sized projects with low to medium complexity and risk, ensuring safety, quality, adherence to budget, and timely delivery.
- Plan, develop, maintain, and adjust project schedules by collaborating with Project Managers and Work Package Managers to meet the cost and schedule forecast.
- Optimize schedules by applying advanced scheduling techniques, strong cost-estimating skills, and a solid understanding of project management principles and practices to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Create and maintain schedules effectively using intermediate-level expertise in relevant software applications, including SAP, P6 scheduling software, and MS Office, to refine cost and schedule estimates throughout the project lifecycle.
Ideal Candidate Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Science, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 2+ years of scheduling experience, or equivalent. Alternatively, a Diploma in Technology or a related field, with 3+ years of scheduling experience, or equivalent.
- Proficient in scheduling software such as Primavera, with intermediate to advanced skills in computer applications including SAP and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project).
- Strong understanding of scheduling techniques, principles, and practices, with excellent analytical and cost-estimating skills.
- Broad knowledge of project management concepts and methodologies.
- Basic understanding of the life cycle of construction projects, including typical scheduling and resource requirements for various phases, as well as engineering design principles and practices.
