Position Summary: An intern supports the assigned design department by assisting with a variety of tasks, including special project assignments and active participation in project design and documentation, to gain practical experience and support their educational development. Compensation for this position is $21.00 - $26.00/hourly, commensurate with experience, education and certifications. The provided range is a good faith estimate based on the requirements described within the job description. If so, the actual salary range may vary from the estimate provided. Essential Functions and Responsibilities * Assist senior or lead (architects, engineers, interior designers, project managers) with basic tasks, including research, simple studies, and requested support * Support the creation of presentation and marketing materials * Follow established quality control procedures and ask questions as needed * Learn and apply department and company standards and best practices * Develop basic design, analysis, and technical skills through hands-on experience * Participate in team meetings and collaborate with team members * Receive guidance and direction from supervisors and team leaders * Collaborate with architects, engineers, interior designers, and other multidisciplinary team members * Assist Project Controls staff with schedule and cost management tasks, including updating schedules, tracking progress, and supporting basic cost and forecasting tasks under supervision.  * Support the preparation and maintenance of project controls systems and tools (e.g. scheduling and cost tracking software, dashboards and reporting platforms) by entering data, running standard reports, and ensuring information accuracy.  * Help compile and organize project controls deliverables and documentation, such as progress reports, change logs, and risk registers, while participating in coordination meetings with project managers, engineers, and schedulers.  Nonessential Functions and Responsibilities * Perform other related duties as assigned
