PROJECT CONTROLS MANAGER – INDEPENDENT POWER PRODUCER

We are looking for a Project Controls Manager to oversee the planning, monitoring, and delivery of a range of projects of complex electrical nature with a connection to the grid. The organisation Develop, Build, Own and Operate a wide range of Energy Infrastructure including Battery Energy Storage (BESS), Hydro Power, Thermal Power, Hydrogen Production & Storage. Working directly for the client, you’ll be able to wear multiple hats simultaneously; Investor, Owner, Operator and Principal Contractor. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards while leading a team of project controls professionals.

• Lead the implementation of advanced project controls techniques and methodologies.
• Oversee the integration of complex electrical works and grid connection elements into project plans.
• Provide expertise in Earned Value Management (EVM) and ensure adherence to project controls best practices.
• Deliver accurate forecasting, trend analysis, and performance reporting to support decision-making.
• Lead and mentor a team of project controls professionals, driving development and excellence within the team.
• Leverage project controls software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and risk management tools to optimize project outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and internal teams, to ensure transparency and alignment across all project phases.
• Identify and mitigate risks proactively while maintaining a strong focus on quality and compliance.
