OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and proactive Project Controls Specialist to join our team in Stuart, Florida. This role is essential to supporting our project delivery efforts by developing and maintaining cost control systems, improving project forecasting accuracy, and providing operational teams with the tools and knowledge to manage the financials of the project effectively. This position requires occasional travel to job sites to work directly with field teams and ensure alignment between forecasting and real-time execution.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in project controls, cost management, or financial forecasting in a project-based environment.
  • Proven ability to implement and maintain complex forecasting systems with a high attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build strong relationships across teams.
  • Proficiency in project control tools/software (e.g., Excel, ERP systems, scheduling tools like Primavera or MS Project).
Responsibilities

· Developing, implementing, and maintaining cost controls on a project.
· Establishing project management procedures to achieve project goals and objectives within budget limitations and timetables.
· Overseeing project schedules, budgets, and performance.
· Overseeing cost management, developing plans, forecasting, and measuring progress against these plans.
· Working closely with the operations teams to educate them on the fundamentals of cost to complete forecast
· Ensure purchase orders and commitment planning is accurate and up to date
· Includes some travel to job sites to work alongside the operations
· Work in-person at the Stuart, Florida office
· Attention to detail is critical to ensure accurate results
· High degree of accountability for the accuracy and timeliness of forecasting
