Description

Overview:
Responsible for implementation, training, oversight and conducting Project Controls related practices for multiple projects across the company’s operational groups.
Location and Travel: This position is a office position in one of the following offices daily: Fargo, ND; Phx, AZ; Denver, CO - preference will be given to someone in an office. This position will require traveling 1 week per month.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Project Controls Specialist II:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Construction Engineering or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2-4 years of related experience in project controls or cost scheduling and planning

Project Controls Specialist III:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Construction Engineering or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 4-6 years of related experience in project controls or cost scheduling and planning
  • Certification from Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACEi), Project Management Institute (PMI) or related industry institute preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward the company’s Zero Injury principles
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Organizational skills and ability to manage simultaneous tasks/assignments
  • Exceptional team building skills and ability to collaborate with groups throughout the company
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to comprehend complex assignments
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
