UPP Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine is hiring a full-time Project Coordinator for their Oakland Location. This position is a Monday-Friday, daylight position. Purpose: Complete special projects under the direction of Administration. Work closely and communicates with the UPMC Health System Payroll Office, the University of Pittsburgh Payroll Office, University of Pittsburgh Dean's Office, and other applicable departments. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain complex spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel. Support the planning & marketing functions of the organization. General involvement with all Human Resource aspects of the organization. Participate in the faculty and staff review process. Assist in various aspects of the Press-Ganey customer satisfaction survey process. Complete special projects under the direction of Administration. Support the health benefit management function for 1,200 faculty members. Coordinate the medical malpractice renewal process for faculty members. Support the payroll function for faculty and/or staff members. Coordinates with the UPMC Health System Payroll Office, the University of Pittsburgh Payroll Office, University of Pittsburgh Dean's Office, and other applicable departments. Participate in the development of policies and procedures. B.A. degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or related field. 2 years work experience preferably in a health care setting.
