ABOUT THIS ROLE:
Advantech is seeking a motivated and talented Project Coordinator to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of engineering and program management while working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
As a Project Coordinator, you will support multiple projects across cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and program management. You will work closely with teams in the US, Taiwan, and China to ensure smooth project execution and timely deliverables. This role provides exposure to project planning, process management, and collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
You should be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and possess strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in maintaining project schedules and ensuring key deliverables are met.
- Support project tracking, documentation, and reporting to keep stakeholders informed.
- Prepare and organize project-related documents, including meeting minutes, status reports, and action items.
- Coordinate meetings, track follow-ups, and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Collaborate with Key Account Managers, Product Managers, and Engineering teams to address project needs.
- Facilitate communication between US-based teams and Advantech factory personnel in Taiwan R&D.
- Identify and escalate potential risks, project roadblocks, and schedule deviations.
- Assist in updating project management tools and databases with relevant project information.
- Participate in internal and external meetings, capturing action items and tracking their progress.
- Develop reports and presentations to provide insights into project timelines and progress.
- Support process improvements by implementing templates and tools for efficiency
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in, or a recent graduate of, an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree program in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- General familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile or Scrum is a plus.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
