About the role AGL has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Capital Projects Team at Bayswater Power Station on a 24-month Max Term Contract, supporting the successful delivery of a significant portfolio of electrical infrastructure and asset improvement projects. Location: this role is to be based on site at Bayswater Power Station in Muswellbrook, NSW working closely with project managers, engineers, contractors and operational teams to coordinate project activities that improve site reliability, safety and performance. You'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-voltage network upgrades, electrical control system improvements and other critical capital projects that help power AGL's future. What you will be doing As a Senior Project Manager, you will provide coordination and project support across multiple capital projects, helping manage schedules, documentation, stakeholders, procurement activities and project reporting. Key aspects of the role include: Coordinating project activities across engineering, fabrication, construction and commissioning phases Supporting project planning and scheduling to ensure milestones, deliverables and deadlines are achieved Maintaining project documentation including scope, schedules, risks, costs and project records Monitoring project budgets and forecasts and assisting with monthly reporting requirements Facilitating communication between stakeholders including operations, maintenance, engineering and contractors Tracking project risks, issues and actions and helping implement mitigation strategies Supporting procurement and contractor management processes throughout project delivery Applying project management frameworks and governance requirements to ensure successful project outcomes What you will bring To succeed in this role, you'll be highly organised, proactive and capable of coordinating multiple workstreams while building strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. 10-7 years' experience in project coordination, project administration or project support roles Experience supporting the delivery of industrial, infrastructure, construction, electrical or engineering projects Qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Business or a related discipline (desirable) Strong understanding of project controls, scheduling, reporting and document management Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills Experience working with SAP, Microsoft Office and MS Project or similar project systems Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines A proactive, solutions-focused approach and commitment to delivering safe, high-quality outcomes Experience working in a brownfield industrial, energy, manufacturing or heavy industry environment will be highly regarded Don’t tick all the boxes?
