Job Description: ACF is currently seeking a skilled and detail-orientated Project Coordinator to join our team in a full-time position. The chosen candidate will be responsible for providing support to the structural steel division, specifically with shop fabrication and installation. We encourage applications from all qualified individuals. ACF will provide temporary housing if required for the successful candidate.
Jr/Sr Position Availability: ACF will provide training to junior candidates with relevant but limited experience, to ensure they will not be overlooked during this application process. Senior candidates with extensive expertise will receive an elevated compensation package to align with the background and knowledge that they bring to the team.

QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE:

· Previous experience in a similar role/ environment considered an asset
· Basic knowledge of welding processes
· Strong organizational skills
· Ability to work well in a team environment
· Comfortable interpreting information from engineering prints
· Must be proficient in MS applications – i.e.: Excel
· This position can benefit from additional experience in the following:
· 2D or 3D Drafting i.e. Draft Sight, SolidWorks, Auto CAD
· Purchasing Experience
· Welding or fabrication experience
· Scheduling, MS Projects
· Quality control

IDEAL CANDIDATE BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:

· Structural or coordinating background within similar industry
· Mechanical Engineering technologist
· Industry related drawing & drafting
· Trades persons with strong literature and software understanding
· Project Managers

· Organizing and creating work packages from clients and shop drawings (Cut packages, fabrication packages, CNC cutting packages, etc.)
· Communicate with workers and management to clarify and eliminate/resolve any discrepancies
· Provide support to project team regarding structural drawings and related documentation
· Create BOM for order procurement
· Create fabrication and shipping lists and documentation

· Working with survey utilizing Robotic Total Station layout equipment

• Learning and utilizing 3D-scanning
• Project coordination and controls
