Responsibilities

PURPOSE OF ROLE

Amalga’s Project Coordinator’s work as part of our Logistics & Projects team to provide a range of innovative and responsive solutions to our customers needs on prestigious construction and logistics projects.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Flexibility and enthusiasm to support all areas of the business.
  • Project self-delivery as well as working in collaboration with other departments and project managers.
  • Strong communication skills, directly with the client and third parties in relation to

projects under your control

  • Liaise with clients and potential clients to promote Amalga’s services
  • Comply with the Companies strict Health & Safety, environment, security and quality guidelines and policies, at all times
  • Schedule works and budget time required to meet deadlines
  • Determine labour requirements and define activities schedules
  • Obtain all necessary permits
  • Create method statements and undertake risk assessments
  • Develop and build our supply chain enabling successful delivery of projects and client requirements
  • Prepare and submit progress/project reports
  • Commercial responsibility for all projects and monthly reporting.
  • Report to monthly Senior Management Team on operational activity when required
  • Input into continual improvement programmes
  • Attend, contribute to and/or lead team meetings. Including:
  • Progress reviews
  • Planning meetings
  • Quality reviews
  • Internal Management and Process Reviews
  • H&S meetings
  • Training and Mentoring
  • Liaise with supervisory personnel, customers, contractors, suppliers and others to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, problems and solutions
  • Investigate damage, accidents, or delays on site, to ensure that proper procedures are being carried out
  • Provide competent cover for peers within group when required
