Description

Reporting to the Director of Operations, this position is responsible for overseeing the Suite Turn Renovation process while maintaining or improving our company’s portfolio of Multi Unit Residential Buildings. The Purchasing Coordinator will be responsible hiring contractors, monitoring the project’s progress, and reporting on project.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Construction/Property Management industry experience is required
  • Experience with Yardi is required
  • Demonstratable experience with directly managing capital projects, project scoping, price negotiation, problem solving and conflict resolution

Responsibilities
  • Create scope of Suite Turn under advisement from Property Manager and create approval sheet while ensuring all the relevant information is captured
  • Create PO’s for each project
  • Order all material for the job from the approved vendors and ensure their timely delivery to the job site
  • Create a work schedule for the upcoming month
  • Coordinating Suite Turn to ensure the project is on schedule
  • Notify Contractors of any deficiencies outlined by the Property Manager
  • Negotiate contracts, delivery schedules, returns and rebates with suppliers
