SUMMARY

Athenica Environmental Services Inc., an environmental consulting firm, has an immediate opening for a Project Coordinator. This position supports environmental or engineering projects by coordinating deliverables, managing communications, and handling administrative and financial tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in project coordination or administrative roles, preferably in an engineering or environmental firm
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and project management tools/software; advanced skills preferred
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Superior time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Responsibilities
  • Assist and support Project Managers with coordination of deliverables for private and public clients, and maintaining project documentation and records
  • Act as a liaison between clients, management, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project progress
  • Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely completion
  • Assist in the preparation of project proposals, reports, and presentations
  • Manage office administrative tasks pertaining to the project, responding to emails, and handling correspondence
  • Organize, review, and maintain project files, databases, and records, plus data entry.
  • Execute project management administrative and bookkeeping tasks such as managing invoices, purchase orders, inventory reports expense tracking, and timesheet management, among other financial documents.
  • Assist with filing, scanning documents into the server and keep all documents organized for deliverables to clients
  • Foster cross-team collaboration to help project team members complete project tasks and produce deliverables
  • Provide general administrative support to the team as needed and assist with answering telephones as needed
