Brief description:
The Project Coordinator (PC) plays a vital support role within the Project team. Working closing with AVEX Project Managers (PM) as part of a collective team supporting the delivery of Audio Visual projects.
For delivery-only the PC is fully responsible for the execution, liaising closely with Suppliers and Clients to ensuring a smooth efficient service.
The PC also supports PMs with the creation of financial planning and supports the updating of the report throughout the lifecycle of the project.
PC will support the project team with resourcing , executing actions as instructed by the PM and liaising with 3rd parties with clear and concise communication.
The PC bears responsibility for administration and coordination of projects, updating and ensuring that internal systems are current and complete.

o To support PMs with budgets, risk management, organisation, schedule, communications and quality oversight
o To follow and remain well abreast of progress of projects, raising any areas of concern.
o To support the PM with setting up of the project organisation, involving people with the necessary knowledge and skills, including consulting with the relevant AVEX departments on capacity.
o To communicates with the customer and internal team on progress of project deliverables
o To participate in the relevant courses offered by AVEX.
o To work according to AVEX’s customer standards and values, including BIPP and GPA.
o To adhere to the procedures and practices in force at AVEX and the client.
o To take initiatives to stimulate the cooperation, team spirit and functioning of the project team.
o To keep the team well informed of developments.
o To engage internal or external parties/departments to carry out specific work
o To generate and maintain complete, up-to-date project files, in which all relevant documents about the project can be quickly found and if necessary transferred to others.
o To manage expectations in fulfilling customer agreements while regularly testing customer satisfaction.
o To monitor quality of project delivery in accordance with BIPP standards set by AVEX.
o The administer project financial processing and take care of various (administrative) systems.
o To keep the Operations Director up to date weekly with progress highlighting any areas requiring additional focus.
Required knowledge and skills:
- A good knowledge of MS Office, including MS Project
- An excellent command of English, both verbally and in writing.
- A good understanding of pricing and margins
- A good understanding and appreciation of the importance of project budget and timelines
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Patient and able to handle pressure
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £34,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
