Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Architectural Millwork Project Coordinator acts as the bridge between clients, designers, manufacturers, and installers. Their primary goal is to ensure millwork components (like cabinetry, wall paneling, trim, casework, etc.) are delivered and installed on time, within budget, and to specification.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Project Coordination:
  • Coordinate timelines, schedules, and workflow for millwork production and installation.
  • Serve as the point of contact between internal departments (design, engineering, shop, etc.) and external stakeholders (GCs, architects, vendors).
  • Document Control:
  • Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, and specifications.
  • Track RFIs, submittals, approvals, change orders, and delivery schedules.
  • Budgeting & Procurement:
  • Assist in cost tracking, procurement of materials, and coordination with suppliers.
  • Manage purchase orders and monitor material usage.
