Interior Health is hiring a permanent full-time Project Coordinator, Capital Planning & Projects who is passionate about making a difference in healthcare.
Location: This position will be based in either Kamloops or the Kootenays to provide regional support

SALARY RANGE FOR THE POSITION IS $74,618 TO $107,264. INTERIOR HEALTH ESTABLISHES SALARIES WITHIN THE MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM OF THE SALARY RANGE BASED ON CONSIDERATION OF THE QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE OF THE APPLICANT, AND AN INTERNAL EQUITY REVIEW OF THE SALARIES OF OTHER EMPLOYEES.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

  • Post secondary diploma in architectural/engineering technology to interpret drawings and specifications, cost project technical requirements.
  • Training in project management software, contract law, insurance requirements, and financial management.
  • Three years of experience in project management.
  • Equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • General knowledge of project management concepts, methods, practices, and tools.
  • Ability to coordinate projects in complex environments.
  • Ability to orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish results.
  • Ability to inspire and guide individuals towards stated objectives.
  • Knowledgeable in policies, practices, and trends affecting healthcare and the organization.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all internal and external partners including the ability to make formal reports and presentations.
  • A BC driver’s license and access to a personal car may be required.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
