Job Description: Caron Equipment Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to contribute to our projects in the Timmins area. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving the success of our projects
As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for organizing and managing project site files, maintaining electronic databases, supporting project managers and supervisors, and ensuring timely and efficient project execution. You will also be expected to abide by existing company policies and any updates introduced during your employment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks based on deadlines.
  • Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting technical documents.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills.
  • Experience with scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6) is an asset.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize and maintain project site files, including active and completed documents.
  • Manage electronic document databases and file-sharing platforms.
  • Complete and submit Daily Reports on production and manpower
  • Maintain Load Count/Production Logs and Shift Costs.
  • Prepare and submit LEMS Reports
  • Progress project schedules based on daily updates.
  • Prepare and submit Requests for Information (RFI).
  • Assist with Scheduling (P6 software preferred).
  • Prepare weekly and monthly project reports.
  • Conduct field visits as required based on project needs.
  • Analyze drawings and specifications to detect potential issues and provide technical support to supervisors and superintendents.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and obtain quotes for field directive pricing.
  • Prepare estimates for project manager review.
  • Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Exhibit excellent time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Adapt to changing project environments and timelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor or designate.
