CTTC PROJECT COORDINATOR

Job Type: Full-time, day shift, Monday - Friday
Number of positions available: 1
Work Location: Virtual; anywhere in Canada
Languages: English (Bilingual in French an asset)
Salary range: $60,000 – 75,000 CAD

OVERVIEW:

Cell Therapy Transplant Canada (CTTC; www.cttcanada.org) is a member-led, national, multidisciplinary organization providing leadership and promoting excellence in patient care, research and education in the field of hematopoietic cell transplant and cell therapy.
CTTC is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Project Coordinator to fulfill the following aspects currently needed on our team:
1) Coordinate CTTC Research priorities
2) Support the Patient, Family and Caregiver (PFC) Advisory Group
3) Engage CTTC members and stakeholders through digital means
4) Facilitate special projects
This is a one-year contract position, reporting to the CTTC Executive Director under the direction of the CTTC Board of Directors.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking (French is an asset but not required)
  2. Practical experience in the medical field is required, Master’s degree in a related field or
    Project Management Professional (PMP) is an asset
  3. Previous experience in project coordination
  4. Experience with social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn
  5. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google suite, videoconferencing platforms, basic graphics and communication tools
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a keen attention to detail and excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
  7. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  8. Reliable in handling confidential information
  9. Previous experience with or knowledge of hematopoietic cell transplantation or other cell therapies is an asset
  10. Minimal travel involved (1-2 times per year, costs reimbursed)
Responsibilities
  • Support the organization’s various research endeavours, including the Research Network, annual CTTC research awards, and national registry agreements
  • Support the Patient, Family and Caregiver (PFC) Advisory Group activities and help develop the framework to include PFCs as partners in research and in advocacy letters to governmental bodies
  • Create content for and engage CTTC members and non-members across various social media platforms and the CTTC website
  • Organize periodic special meetings and retreats (1-2 per year)
  • Assist the Executive Director with other tasks as required
