POSITION OVERVIEW:

Canoco Civil is currently seeking a Project Coordinator - Civil to join our team. The Project Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the successful planning, execution, and completion of civil construction projects. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate with project managers, field staff, subcontractors, and clients.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2–4 years of experience in civil construction or project coordination (earthworks, underground utilities, roadworks, or related civil projects preferred)
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project) and construction/project management software is an asset
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality standards
Responsibilities
  • Assist in the coordination and scheduling of civil construction projects
  • Track project progress, budgets, and timelines, ensuring deliverables are met
  • Support Project Managers with documentation, reporting, and cost control
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff to ensure smooth project execution
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Act as a communication link between field operations, management, and clients
