POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Project Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in the planning and execution of civil construction projects. Collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and on-site teams, you will ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all regulatory standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering Technology or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software and technical drawing tools.
• Understanding of construction processes, safety standards, and engineering principles.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, maps, and survey data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow directions.
• Physical ability to work on-site in various weather conditions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in a similar role within the civil construction industry.
• Certification in civil engineering technology.
• Knowledge of GIS (Geographic Information System) software.
• Familiarity with project management principles and scheduling software.

• Assist in the design, planning, and implementation of construction projects.
• Conduct site surveys, collect field data, and perform inspections to gather project information.
• Analyze engineering data, including blueprints, maps, and survey reports.
• Perform tests on construction materials to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
• Prepare technical drawings and schematics using CAD software.
• Collaborate with construction teams to provide guidance on project specifications and standards.
• Monitor project progress and report any issues or deviations from plans.
• Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal building codes and environmental regulations.
• Assist in preparing project cost estimates, budgets, and schedules.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of all project activities.
