QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, project management, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in project coordination, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry.
  • Understanding of permitting, regulatory approvals, and interconnection processes for commercial solar projects.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management software (e.g., ClickUp, Asana, or similar).
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with utility applications and compliance processes is an asset.
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator – Commercial Solar to support our commercial solar projects. This role will focus on ensuring compliance with signed agreements, managing permit and approval applications, coordinating interconnection preparations, and maintaining project documentation for stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in ensuring compliance with signed commercial solar agreements, including tracking deliverables and deadlines.
  • Prepare and submit permit and approval applications required for project execution.
  • Support interconnection applications and approvals, coordinating with utilities and regulatory bodies.
  • Maintain and organize project documentation, including contracts, approvals, reports, and status updates.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to ensure timely project progress.
  • Monitor project timelines and assist in identifying and addressing potential roadblocks.
  • Prepare project reports and updates for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in coordinating project meetings, tracking action items, and ensuring follow-ups.
  • Support other administrative and operational tasks as required to keep projects running smoothly.
