WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Are you passionate about construction and eager to play a key role in bringing projects to life? We are seeking a Project Coordinator with the drive and expertise to support the successful delivery of residential and mixed-use developments, including condos, townhomes, and commercial builds.
As a Project Coordinator, you’ll provide essential support to our construction management team—coordinating documentation, assisting with contracts and submittals, and ensuring smooth project execution from start to finish. Working closely with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, and external partners, you’ll help keep schedules on track, meet administrative and technical requirements, and ensure that all project documentation is accurate and timely.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in construction coordination, estimating, or project administration.
  • Familiarity with contract forms and documentation (e.g., CCDC contracts).
  • Knowledge of Alberta Building Code, OHS regulations, and municipal permitting processes considered an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in project management and construction software (e.g., BuilderTrend, Procore, MS Project).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Preparing, tracking, and managing submittals, RFIs, purchase orders, change orders, and contract documentation (including CCDC requirements).
  • Maintaining organized project files that meet company standards and ensure audit readiness.
  • Supporting Project Managers by preparing and distributing meeting minutes, reports, and project correspondence.
  • Assisting with quantity takeoffs, estimates, and cost quotations for materials, subcontractor work, and change orders.
  • Coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes and ensure accuracy.
  • Supporting bid package preparation and procurement schedules.
  • Scheduling and coordinating inspections, permits, and project locates with municipalities and consultants.
  • Tracking project milestones and schedules, and flagging potential delays or conflicts to the Project Manager.
  • Working closely with site staff, trades, and consultants to ensure timely delivery of project documentation.
  • Assisting in drafting, reviewing, and processing contracts and purchase orders.
  • Ensuring compliance with the Alberta Building Code, OHS requirements, zoning bylaws, and permitting regulations.
  • Monitoring and updating change order logs while keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Serving as a reliable point of contact for suppliers and subcontractors regarding administrative needs.
