JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget by collaborating with the senior project management team to develop comprehensive action plans, including resource allocation, project progress / timeline, budgets, and completing assigned administrative tasks as required. This position requires a strong understanding of construction management and processes, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with customers, contractors, and suppliers. Must be able to meet federal requirements in order to obtain and maintain DOE site access.

Duties:

  • Prepare for construction projects by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and other documentation (including, but not limited to required submittals).
  • Collaborate with project managers to understand project requirements and scope.
  • Utilize software tools such as O365, Adobe/Bluebeam, Procore, and Microsoft Project for efficient tracking of project milestones and deliverables and other associated project management tasks.
  • Conduct site visits to gather information on project conditions and requirements.
  • Serve as a liaison between project teams and stakeholders, providing updates and addressing any concerns.
  • Maintain organized records of estimates, contracts, and correspondence related to projects.
  • Assist in the creation and facilitation of project meetings.
  • Identify and communicate potential risks, and assist in developing mitigation strategies to ensure projects stay on track.
  • Monitor project budgets throughout the construction process to ensure adherence to estimated costs.

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
