ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Global Studies, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in research program coordination, with some experience in a global research, evaluation, and training-focused organization.
  • Experience coordinating board meetings, planning complex in-person and virtual meetings and events, and providing committee support, with global participants across multiple time zones and cultural contexts.
  • Demonstrated experience with grant writing and supporting funding applications on topics of governance, institutions, cumulation of knowledge, researcher-practitioner collaboration and others.
  • Experience drafting professional correspondence, reports, policy briefs and materials, and donor reports.
  • Experience advising on policies and procedures for multi-site randomized controlled trials.
  • Experience in project coordination, including developing and tracking project schedules, and keeping key stakeholders informed on project progress.
  • Experience with data collection, analysis, and reporting, including use of survey tools and feedback sessions. Experience developing briefing materials and presentations to support decision making.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google suite, social media platforms (Bluesky, X, LinkedIn, Buffer), website content management systems (WordPress), content development platforms (Canva, Adobe suite) and project management tools (Airtable)
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written); excellent interpersonal skills with proven experience working across diverse cultural contexts, both in the Global North and GlobalSouth.
  • Detail-oriented, with demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and timelines.
  • Willingness to learn and work collaboratively within a large, multi-site team.
  • Affinity for networking and building personal relationships.
  • Ability to exercise good judgement and discretion; and demonstrated initiative, resourcefulness.

Responsibilities

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Writing and editing funding application content on topics of governance, institutions, cumulation of knowledge, researcher-practitioner collaboration and related topics; verifying research funding proposals are complete, accurate and adhere to sponsor guidelines
  • Building and strengthening relationships with global stakeholders and partners of strategic importance
  • Producing promotional and outreach materials
  • Determining logistical details and activities for events and/or programming
  • Preparing draft statistical reports and summaries from data collected
  • Coordinating tasks for projects and other strategic initiatives with stakeholders across multiple time zones and cultural contexts
  • Designing surveys, interviews and other research tools for program evaluation
  • Writing and editing reports to support initiatives, on topics of governance, institutions, cumulation of knowledge, researcher-practitioner collaboration and related topics
