Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of one of our long-standing manufacturing clients for an exciting newly created Project Coordinator position based in Stockport.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Coordinator, or a confident Project Administrator / Project Assistant looking to step into a more involved coordination role. You'll be joining a highly experienced team of Project Managers, many of whom have been with the business for years, giving you an incredible support network and knowledge base as you develop within the role.

This isn't a role where you'll simply follow a process - you'll have the opportunity to help shape how the position evolves, bringing your own ideas, organisation and initiative to a business that genuinely values continuous improvement.

The Role

Working alongside the Project Managers, you'll play a vital role in ensuring projects are launched successfully and progress smoothly from start to finish.

You'll liaise with multiple departments including Sales, Purchasing, Manufacturing and Quality, ensuring project information is accurate, deadlines are met and customers receive an exceptional service throughout.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same, combining project coordination, planning, scheduling and first-class administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the successful launch of new customer projects
• Update and maintain project plans, schedules and tracking systems
• Upload and maintain documentation on customer portals
• Monitor project progress and ensure information remains accurate
• Support Project Managers with planning, scheduling and reporting
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure project milestones are achieved
• Maintain both electronic and paper-based project documentation
• Produce reports for both customers and internal stakeholders
• Provide proactive administrative support across the project team
• Identify issues and take ownership of resolving them wherever possible

We're looking for someone who has:

• Previous experience in a Project Coordinator, Project Administrator or Project Assistant role
• A strong administration background with exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• The confidence to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• The ability to work proactively and use their own initiative
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
• Experience using a Project Management system would be advantageous
• A positive attitude and genuine desire to learn and develop
