JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing estimates for construction projects, ensuring that all costs are accounted for and that tender timelines are meet. Experience is desired but not required.
The candidate should have a diploma or degree in a construction related field or several years experience estimating or coordinating construction projects.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field is desired.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and AutoCAD is expected.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and practices within the construction industry.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A background in construction or engineering is preferred but not mandatory.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $45,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Analyze project plans and specifications to develop comprehensive cost estimates.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and other construction related software
  • Prepare and present bids, proposals, and cost breakdowns to clients and management.
  • Negotiate terms with subcontractors and suppliers to achieve favorable pricing agreements.
  • Monitor project budgets throughout the lifecycle of the project, adjusting estimates as necessary based on changes in scope or materials.
  • Maintain organized documentation of all estimating processes, including calculations, assumptions, and communications.
