Evergreen Tiling Ltd. is a well established tile and flooring contractor based in the Lower Mainland. We specialize in multi-family, commercial, and custom home projects, working with leading developers and general contractors across British Columbia. As we continue to expand our flooring division, we are seeking a skilled and reliable Project Coordinator / Estimator to join our team.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Project Coordinator / Estimator will be responsible for managing flooring scopes from tender through to project completion. This role is suited for an individual with strong industry knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote capacity. You will work closely with the owner and external stakeholders to ensure accurate estimating, timely coordination, and successful project delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in flooring estimating or project coordination
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specs
  • Strong working knowledge of Bluebeam Revu (required)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook); estimating software experience is an asset
  • Excellent time management, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple projects remotely
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
  • Based in the Lower Mainland

Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed takeoffs and estimates for flooring scopes (vinyl plank, tile, carpet, rubber base, etc.)
  • Review drawings, specifications, and site conditions to assess project requirements
  • Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
  • Submit RFIs, change orders, and purchase orders as needed
  • Communicate with general contractors, site supers, and installers throughout each project
  • Monitor schedules, material deliveries, and job progress
  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry professionals, including clients, suppliers, and trades.
