It will extend from Kennedy Station to Sheppard Avenue and McCowan Road, providing quick and seamless transit for those heading into and out of the downtown core and those travelling within Scarborough. The construction is split into two contracts: Advanced Tunnelling (AT) and Stations, Rail, and Systems (SRS). For more information about our vacancies, please refer to our Career Centre [https://workforcenow.adp.com/mascsr/default/mdf/recruitment/recruitment.html?cid=93158283-47c3-4c00-99ef-6226b71f4a5d&ccId=19000101_000001&source=CC2⟨=en_CA&selectedMenuKey=CareerCenter].   Project Opportunity As part of the Scarborough Transit Connect project, FCC is looking for a Project Coordinator to join our team.   Main Responsibilities * Provide technical and construction expertise and support to specific areas of civil works (piling, excavation, dewatering, utilities, concrete, restoration, etc.) * Understands client drivers and offers value engineering proposals for schedule, functionality, and cost benefit. * Coordinate with Client on the status/progress of construction works, manage risks, explain methodologies, and stakeholder management. * Coordinate with the design team to review design drawings, provide constructability input, progress design to meet deliverables on time, and address compliance issues, quality issues, and unforeseen site conditions. * Coordinate with subcontractors to build schedule, obtain estimates, define scope of works, develop construction plans, coordinate construction on site, inspect works for quality and compliance, and manage conflicts that arise. * Coordinate with stakeholders for agreements, permits, approvals, and to obtain additional information. * Ensure cost reports, inventory, and quantity tracking meet specifications. * Understand, communicate, and enforce the contract documents and RFI’s when discrepancies occur. * Identify and manage risks and opportunities on the project. * Monitor cost and schedule and correct deviations to keep the project on time and within budget.   Education and Qualifications * Engineering / Engineering Technologist / Construction Technology Diploma, Degree, or Post-grad Certificate required. * 3+ years of construction experience; multi-disciplinary, large-scale projects would be an asset.   Job Requirements * Capable of reading and understanding construction drawings and documents. * Sound computer skills – MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project, AutoCAD. * Strong communication skills – oral and written. * Self-motivated with good organizational skills. * Ability to work accurately under pressure. * Adaptable to flexible work schedule when required to meet deadlines. * Ability to work with others as a team.   Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000 CAD annually   Work Environment FCC Canada is committed to cultivating a diverse and inclusive culture which promotes gender equity and the recruitment of all under-represented groups in all levels of its workforce.
