Description

The Project Coordinator will support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and monitoring interior fit-out projects from initiation to handover. The role involves liaising with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.

  • Assist in the preparation of project schedules, work programs, and resource allocation plans.
  • Coordinate between design, procurement, and site teams to ensure smooth execution.
  • Follow up with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including RFIs, material submittals, method statements, and progress reports.
  • Track variations, change orders, and maintain updated project logs.
  • Document site progress with photographs and daily reports.
  • Act as a communication bridge between clients, consultants, and internal teams.
  • Organize and attend project meetings; prepare and circulate meeting minutes.
  • Ensure client requirements are clearly communicated and implemented on-site.
  • Support the Project Manager in monitoring site progress, quality, and safety compliance.
  • Coordinate site inspections with consultants and authorities.
  • Assist in resolving site issues and ensuring smooth workflow between trades.
  • Assist in obtaining quotations, preparing comparison sheets, and issuing purchase orders.
  • Monitor material consumption and wastage.
  • Support cost tracking and reporting for project budgets.

KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of fit-out materials, joinery works, and construction sequences.
