Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Support faculty and instructional teams by managing and executing the deployment of a portfolio of existing online courses across lifecycles through iterative improvement, including course video production, repackaging, semester course launches, ongoing course support, assisting in assessment and course design. Maintain familiarity with the entire scope and requirements of a course and serve as liaison between team members and instructional team. Develop and foster productive relationships with course faculty and instructional team.
  • Support new and existing program projects, including student-facing tech support, media captioning, team documentation, and faculty- and student-facing resources.
  • Support the training of Student Technology Assistants (STAs), instructors, teaching assistants, and staff on processes, procedures, and tools for course development, as well as workflows and communication models to facilitate course production, including course video and material preparation protocols, quality assurance, best practices, naming standards, and storage.
  • Utilize excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate professionally and collaborate effectively with faculty, teaching assistants, STAs, and staff to resolve complex issues. Build institutional knowledge to use sound judgment in aligning operational activities with program objectives.
  • Establish a reputation for dependability and effective collaboration by maintaining a positive attitude, meeting deadlines, attending to work with precision. Contribute proactively to a culture of communication, collaboration, trust, and support with team(s) and leadership.
  • Take the initiative to ask thoughtful questions, seek feedback, and apply it to show motivation for professional growth.
  • Assist with special projects as assigned
