JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Project Coordinator to join our project management team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting project management activities within the construction sector. This position requires strong skills in project management and organization, as well as the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The Project Coordinator will assist in ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and in alignment with client expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in project coordination or administration within commercial construction/general contracting.
  • Strong knowledge of construction documents, processes, and terminology.
  • Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities
  • Assist project managers with planning, scheduling, and coordinating all phases of commercial construction projects.
  • Prepare, distribute, and track submittals, RFIs, change orders, and other project documentation.
  • Maintain organized project files, ensuring compliance with company standards and client requirements.
  • Support bid processes, including distributing bid documents, tracking subcontractor responses, and preparing bid summaries.
  • Monitor project schedules and budgets, providing updates and reports to project stakeholders.
  • Act as a liaison between project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to facilitate clear communication.
  • Coordinate jobsite meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Assist with permitting, inspections, and compliance documentation as needed.
  • Ensure safety standards, company policies, and contractual obligations are followed.
