QUALIFICATIONS

Successful candidates should have a Civil Engineering degree or Construction Engineering diploma coupled with related experience in a construction environment. You are a motivated and confident individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Your organization and time-management skills allow you to multi-task and meet deadlines. You are able to work well with others in a team environment and contribute to the project team in an efficient, effective and positive manner.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00-$26.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Assist with major construction projects, including liaison with Architects, Consulting Engineers and Subcontractors
  • Assist with preparation and execution of overall work plan and schedule
  • Review and process shop drawings
  • Prepare cost estimates for change order and audit purposes
  • Price site instructions, work orders and change notices
  • Prepare monthly progress application and expedite payment
  • Provide document turnover to client at completion of project
  • Resolve deficiencies in a timely manner
  • Provide other technical office support as required by Production staff
  • Assist with maintenance of project files and preparation of reports
  • Attend job site subcontractor and safety meeting
