The Project Coordinator will report to the Project Managers for the specific projects, but will be under the direction of the Construction Manager. The Project Coordinator is responsible for the day to day project quality, quantity tracking, utilities, generating progress payments, acquiring necessary permits and generate as -built drawings. The Project Coordinator will work independently and alongside the Project Supervisor, Structure Supervisor and Project Manager to ensure that the Quality aspects of the project are maintained and scheduled accordingly. The Project coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the design work related to contractor designed support and protection systems, assist in the design of dewatering systems, generate traffic control plans, oversight work during construction, production tracking, scheduling, and monitoring productions. The successful candidate would have a working knowledge of and experience with municipal and MTO construction and able to interpret drawings and specifications. This person would also understand site safety including OHSA and have completed the necessary safety courses and received the appropriate certifications. The individual should also have experience coordinating subcontractors and ordering materials for the work. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and include a comprehensive benefit package.
