Description
The Project Coordinator I provides foundational coordination and support across a range of global health informatics projects and activities. As a member of the Global Health Informatics (GHI) team, the Project Coordinator I supports day-to-day activities and projects. The Project Coordinator I contributes to planning, operations, project development, partner education, and implementation. This role requires coordination with other workstreams.
The position is carried out remotely in support of our work in Guyana, as well in New York City. Some international travel will be required.

Responsibilities

  • Provides coordination for administrative and operational aspects of GHI team activities.
  • Supports the development of the GHI team’s educational initiatives by assisting with planning, curriculum design, education program delivery, and other programmatic education activities.
  • Contributes to development and delivery of program materials and communications, including documentation that facilitates internal coordination, addresses stakeholder requests, and aligns with strategic and program goals.
  • Participates in GHI planning, design, development, and implementation activities in order to produce detailed documentation and to collaborate on the design of systems, workflows, and program deliverables.
  • Assists with solution development by coordinating project tasks and participating in iterative design and delivery processes to ensure solutions align with user and stakeholder needs.
  • Participates in the development of specialized data collection and related tools (e.g., REDCap surveys/forms) and training activities.
  • Performs other related duties.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required, or equivalent education and work experience
  • None required, 1 year of experience in project coordination preferred.
  • Familiarity with or exposure to global health, clinical health settings, or digital health environments is highly desirable, though not required.
