POSITION SUMMARY:

The Project Coordinator will support the Project Manager and site team in the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proven experience in managing project documentation and processes. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years of experience in ICI construction and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in ICI construction project coordination or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of ICI construction processes, terminology, and documentation.
  • Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, or similar).
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field considered an asset.

Responsibilities
  • Assist Project Managers in coordinating all aspects of ICI construction projects from start to completion.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes.
  • Support scheduling efforts by tracking project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Maintain and update project files, logs, and records to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
  • Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Assist with budget tracking, invoice review, and cost reporting.
  • Monitor compliance with project specifications, drawings, and contractual requirements.
  • Coordinate and distribute project information, ensuring alignment between the office and field teams.
  • Provide administrative and technical support for project-related meetings, including agenda preparation and follow-up.
  • Support quality control and safety initiatives by ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
