Description Primary role will be to support the Land Acquisitions, Development, and Dispositions personnel in the administration of the entitlement, development, and real estate processes within the Land Department. Duties & Responsibilities Assist the Project Management team in managing the acquisition, disposition, and development of land, including the due diligence and feasibility process, ensuring that the team completes all due diligence and internal approval items within a timeframe that meets corporate and contractual requirements Partner with the Project Manager in the updating of pipeline and future opportunity reports Research approvals/permits, zoning, engineering plans, improvement estimates, off-site improvements/contributions, soils/geology, wetlands, utilities, affordable housing component/contribution, environmental reports, and building costs Responsible for investigating various components of due diligence analysis Assist the team in creation of additional cost budgets Support the Project Management team in creation of vendor contracts, change orders, check requests and invoices Assist with development contracts, proposals and other documents required for vendors regarding due diligence Support the Project Manager in weekly update reports and department records, including but not limited to invoices, server files, feasibility reports and internal data systems. Responsible for communicating professionally, both verbally and written, with all business contacts including but not limited to, team members, trade partners, local counsel, title companies, etc. Attend and occasionally conduct Pipeline Review meetings with Finance, Marketing, and Rental Departments to ensure open communication and timeliness of transactional updates to maintain closing schedules Maintains confidentiality always while performing job-related duties Ability to direct paper flow and work under tight deadlines Additional duties as required Requirements At least one year in a similar role (Real Estate, Development, or Title) Works independently and within the team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects, which may include, planning and coordinating multiple presentations and disseminating information Ability to organize, prioritize, and schedule work assignments Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook Maintains a positive attitude and has the ability receive direction and coaching Maintains confidentiality always while performing job-related duties Willingness to "go the extra mile" to achieve goals and objectives Preferred Qualifications 2+ years in a similar role (Real Estate, Development, or Title) Previous experience in project management Real Estate experience preferred Associate's or Bachelor’s degree preferred not required Physical Demands Lifting up to 20 pounds occasionally and frequently moving small objects Frequently sitting for long periods of time Walking or standing occasionally This position works mostly indoors going outdoors may be frequently required Must have manual use of hands and vision to use computer constantly Employee Benefits Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance 401(k) – Company Match up to 5% Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Maternity and Paternity Leave Adoption Assistance and Leave Tuition Assistance And More!
