COMMUNICATIONS & KNOWLEDGE MOBILIZATION (5%)

  • Implement communication strategies including newsletters, social media, and community updates.
  • Promote the micro-credential program to prospective learners and partners.
  • Contribute to final reports, presentations, and community engagement events.

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will have:

  • An undergraduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., Indigenous Studies, Business, Education, Project Management).
  • A minimum of four years’ experience in project coordination, preferably in Indigenous communities, organizations, or educational institutions.
  • A strong understanding of Indigenous worldviews, protocols, and data sovereignty principles (OCAP®, CARE).
  • Experience working directly with Indigenous communities, organizations, and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with online learning environments and instructional design is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet).
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and independent problem-solving abilities.
