QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

  • 2-3 years of direct industrial construction experience
  • Trade Certification or Technical Diploma/Degree in Engineering or related field experience is required
  • InEight experience is an asset
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Proficient with MS Office SuiteProficient using scheduling and project management software
  • Demonstrates general knowledge of and increasing familiarity with the core elements of a construction project, including systems, practices, and processes of project management
Responsibilities

Reporting to the Project Manager the Project Coordinator is responsible for providing assistance to more senior staff (Project Managers, Superintendents) in the coordination, scheduling, quantity surveying, reporting, and quality control functions of a project. This is a task-based role that requires working knowledge of core elements of construction projects. As the incumbent progresses from a Project Coordinator, familiarity with the core elements of a construction project (field management, estimating, project management) increases, as does proficiency with project management systems, processes, and tools.
You will develop best-in-class project coordination skills working within a large General Contractor; we manage the construction of large, complex, technically challenging and rewarding projects.
