In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, support exciting corporate projects, and sharpen your skills in planning, communication, and execution. What You’ll Do: As a Project Coordinator Intern at Royal Credit Union you will play a key role in supporting our project management team. This position is ideal for a college student majoring in Business or Information Technology who is eager to gain real-world experience in project coordination and management of corporate projects. You will collaborate with various departments, assisting in the planning, execution, and completion of projects. What’s It Like Being an Intern at Royal Credit Union? Watch Here! Our Commitment To You: Compensation: $17.41 - 19.49 per hour (candidates with significant related experience may be higher) What’s Needed For This Position: Enrolled at a University or Technical College throughout the length of the internship, pursuing a degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field. Basic understanding of project management principles, practices, or experience through coursework, projects, or work experience Must be bondable Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Effective written and verbal communication, especially when explaining new processes Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort with digital tools and technology What We’d Love To See: Experience with project management tools Knowledge of financial services and information security concepts Intern Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To: Assist in developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and documentation to ensure timely project execution. Coordinate and monitor project tasks, timelines, and milestones while supporting communication between team members and stakeholders. Prepare project status reports and presentations, and help identify and resolve project issues and risks. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, taking minutes, managing documents, and collaborating with IT and business teams. Participate in project meetings, contribute to strategy discussions, and engage in research to support project goals and continuous improvement. Work Schedule: Working approximately 15-20 hours/week during the school year and 35-40 hours/week during the summer. Generally working variable hours between 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday through Friday based on class schedule. Must be able to work onsite at the Royal Credit Union Corporate Center throughout the school year and during breaks. This is a limited term, non-benefit eligible, position that will go from May 2026 - May 2027. Must be able to commit to the 12 month internship. Training: Prior to starting a normal work schedule, new Royal team members must attend Foundation Training at our Corporate Center in Eau Claire, WI from 9:00am - 4:30pm on Monday and Tuesday during their first week of employment. Out of town learners will be reimbursed costs related to travel and lodging. Foundation Training covers fundamental information about Royal’s culture and core values which sets the stage for team members to be successful within our organization.
