POSITION SUMMARY

We are currently seeking a highly organized, professional, and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to work full time in our Victoria office.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Proficiency with PC software, including MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PDF editing tools (Bluebeam).
  • Able to work effectively both in a team environment and independently.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Have experience prioritizing and completing assignments to meet deadlines.
  • Be reliable and discreet due to the sensitive nature of the position.
  • Be willing and able to follow detailed instructions for various duties and learn new applications as required.
  • Ability to organize and maintain records in a consistent and cohesive manner.
  • Position is required to be onsite.

DEPARTMENT ASSIGNMENT

This position is held within the Construction department of the business and will be compensated on an hourly basis. Compensation shall be a function of experience, project performance, interpersonal skills, customer satisfaction and displayed professional growth. Regular hours of work will be Monday to Friday, excluding stat holidays, from 8am to 4pm. This job description is subject to change for personal growth, organizational development and/or implementation of new technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Receiving project emails and coordinating bid requests with estimating department.
  • Coordinating site walk throughs with estimator and maintaining bid calendar.
  • Assist estimating team with quote preparation, submission, and tracking.
  • Tracking contract documentation for multiple projects concurrently and distributing to appropriate construction team.
  • Assist with document/drawing reviews, updates, and distribution.
  • Create and maintain digital contract files.
  • Create tech files complete with approved shop drawings.
  • Create and submit RFIs for construction team.
  • Create and track submittals for each project.
  • Ensure all contract changes are distributed to construction team
  • Prepare and submit project closeout documentation.
