KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in a Project Coordination role will be preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and common IT practices is required.
  • Experience using PowerBI and Power Automate.
  • Experience in reporting and tracking of data.
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and invoicing
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • Proactive attitude and flexible approach to work.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our James Fisher Renewables team and play a key role in bringing projects to life!
In this role, you will be at the heart of the action, working closely with project managers, team members, and stakeholders, to ensure that everything runs smoothly throughout the project lifecycle.
As the Project Coordinator, you’ll take on a variety of responsibilities, including preparing cost estimates, managing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, keeping project records up to date, and working with the finance team on payroll and invoicing. We’re passionate about continuous improvement, and you’ll also have the chance to actively contribute to refining and evolving our processes.

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Coordinate project activities, resources, and information to ensure timely and successful delivery, including the maintenance of accurate project documentation.
  • Raise estimates for client approval and purchase orders for suppliers.
  • Liaise with suppliers and manage communications regarding availability, scheduling purchase orders and invoicing.
  • Prepare projects for payroll and invoicing.
  • Maintain training records and certification.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure all deliverables are met according to project timelines.
  • Support Project and Operations teams with project tasks as required.
