Description JOB DUTIES Assist the VP of Construction with coordinating the contractor bid process, including scope development, proposal review, and vendor compliance. Help review project plans and specifications to ensure accuracy and alignment with project goals. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including meeting notes, daily logs, and progress reports. Assist with monitoring subcontractor performance and quality control, escalating issues as needed. Organize and streamline construction services, administrative operations and data output. Coordinate communication among contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution. Contribute to the development of tools and processes to improve departmental efficiency. Requirements SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate Development, Construction Management, or a related field required, Master’s degree preferred. 7+ years of experience in real estate development, preferably in the multifamily industry. Professional certifications such as Certified Development, Design, and Construction Professional (CDCDP) or Real Estate Development Professional (REDP) are a plus. Proven experience leading and managing development teams. Deep understanding of real estate development principles and practices. Knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations. Ability to analyze market data and financial information. Excellent project management and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software. Must have a valid driver’s license with no major infractions in the last 12 months.
