Lna’i Community Health Center (LCHC), located on the island of Lna’i, is deeply rooted in a unique history of transitions and cultural diversity. LCHC serves the entire population of Lna’i, with a special emphasis on those living at or below 200% of the federal poverty level and the underinsured or uninsured. The center provides services in a culturally sensitive manner, offering translation services when needed, and ensures that no one is denied care due to an inability to pay.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Two-year degree in related field. Bachelor’s degree, and related field experience preferred.
  • In lieu of a degree, additional work experience is acceptable, a minimum of 5-7+ years of relevant experience
  • Two years of experience in project coordination, preferably in a healthcare or nonprofit environment.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and tools, including scope, schedule, budget, and quality control.
  • Prefer 1-3 years in healthcare administrative assistance.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to keep others organized.
  • Diligence in adaptability, and able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends, when necessary.
  • Adept and proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Acrobat, Virtual Meeting Platforms, Web-Based Applications and Platforms.
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with vendors and patients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support a cohesive and collaborative work environment
  • Adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Available for full-time employment, with a commitment to meeting the health center’s operational needs.
    This dynamic role requires a versatile professional capable of managing diverse responsibilities with precision and contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the Lnai Community Health Center.
Responsibilities

Provides oversight and support of project initiatives across Lanai Community Health Center’s (LCHC) departments by managing scope, cost, time, quality, and interdepartmental coordination. This role ensures timely execution and successful completion of projects aligned with LCHC’s strategic goals. The Project Coordinator will work collaboratively with departmental directors and staff and will also undertake project-based assignments as delegated by departmental leadership.
