DESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARY

The Project Coordinator will support project and operations requirements across Lindahl Reed’s internal and external customers and stakeholders. The Project Coordinator will assist with managing resources, project schedules, financial analyses, and adherence to federal government quality control guidelines throughout the full program delivery life cycle. This also includes assistance with resource management, contract management, financial management, business development, and project management to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. The position will contribute to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery while striving to exceed stakeholder expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, business, or related field preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience.
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment, demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus, and achieve objectives.
  • Experience successfully leading projects and programs to on-time, on-schedule and within budget.
  • Excellent communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands.
  • Understanding of interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs.
  • Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Flexible with proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Assists with project management including planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks, and issues and helps ensure overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives.
  • Supports program and contract managers with financial analysis, deliverable preparation, tracking of project budget, and customer engagement.
  • Prepares contract briefs and project plans.
  • Performs internal quality control reviews to ensure projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards.
  • Analyzes issues and troubleshoots problem areas; develops risk mitigation strategies; and monitors and tracks resolution of issues and conflicts to ensure critical path deliverables.
  • Supports provision of status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership.
  • Supports corporate socio responsibility and marketing/branding initiatives.
  • Assist with business development activities.
  • Provides talent acquisition support, including engaging with HR, program leads, and recruiting.
  • Assists with development of templates, processes, policies, and tools to streamline business operations.
  • Works creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence.
